MUEGGE
MUEGGE is a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial microwave components, plasma sources and systems. Founded in 1979, the company today employs approximately 120 employees at its headquarters in Reichelsheim, Germany, and its subsidiary in Modesto, California (USA). MUEGGE provides solutions for a broad range of industrial applications including the processing of food, lab grown diamonds and semiconductor components, for drying and heating processes, for chemical molecule extraction and for the production of hydrogen to customers in more than 40 countries globally.
The acquisition
HQ Equita Beteiligungen V GmbH & Co. KG has acquired MUEGGE together with the management team from the former shareholder Meyer Burger AG in October 2020.
Implementation of the growth plan
Investments in sales and marketing as well as research and development will further strengthen the global presence and allow to expand the technology leadership with new product innovations. The international expansion and complementation of the technological solution portfolio will also be achieved through targeted acquisitions.
