indevis, headquartered in Munich, is a leading Managed Security Service Provider for customers from the upper midmarket with the core sectors comprising healthcare, law firms and management consultancies, financial service providers and public sector in German-speaking countries. Since its foundation in 1999, the company has focused exclusively on the topic of IT security and Managed Security Services in order to holistically secure various attack vectors on customers’ IT infrastructure. In doing so, indevis benefits from its own integrated end-to-end security stack, many years of experience with IT security in the premium segment and audited service processes.
The acquisition
HQ Equita Beteiligungen V GmbH & Co. KG acquired a majority stake in indevis as of August 2021. The founders continue to hold a significant stake in indevis and remain active in their respective roles as managing directors. In addition, further managers have invested in indevis alongside HQ Equita.
Implementation of the growth plan
Together with the management and the advisory board, the product and service portfolio will be further developed by introducing a Managed Detection & Response solution. Additionally, the geographical presence will be reinforced through add-on acquisitions.
