The VAG Group develops, produces and sells industrial fittings for the water supply and drainage sectors. Under the VAG Fittings brand, which has been a recognized brand since 1925, the VAG Group provides solutions for all control tasks in the water business, from the exploitation of water sources to transport and distribution, for the German market and also for the international market, where it is achieving above-average growth. The group, which manufactures mass-produced fittings and is active in the spare parts and services segments, is among the market leaders in its field. Production sites are located in Mannheim, the Czech Republic and China. In 2006 the company had total sales of €92 million and a workforce numbering approximately 725 employees.
